We have a position available on an 400-cow farm milking in Kowhitirangi, milking through a 34 aside herringbone. The farm is very well set up, we have a herd home for wintering, great flow through the shed, we use Halter so no super early mornings sitting in the rain.
This could suit a couple as hours can be available on weekends for milkings to cover sharemilkers time off.
You would be assisting with general farm duties, including milking cows, feeding calves, repair and maintenance, putting up fences. Tractor driving, fertiliser, feeding out, etc.
The suitable candidate would be someone who is physically fit, enjoys rural life and works well in a team environment.
Must have a clear police and drug history - pre-employment drug and alcohol testing will be expected.
Must be willing to submit to random drug testing on farm.
4 bedroom accommodation available. No Pets.
Must be physically fit
Roster 11 on 3 off
