The successful applicant will need to be honest, hardworking, reliable, have excellent pasture management, able to problem solve on the go, be skilled in animal husbandry, machinery operation and have excellent communication skills and able to work in a team environment.  The applicant must adhere to the company's drug and alcohol-free policy/environment. The applicant must have a minimum of 3 year's full-time experience in the dairy industry. References are required. The applicant must currently be in NZ and must be available to undergo the interviewing process. The roster is currently 6 days on 2 days off.

Due to our staff member returning home overseas we now have a position available on our dairy farm that we contract milk in opio, near nightcaps. We will be calving 540 cows to milk between 520-530 cows through a 32 ashb with acrs, in shed feeding, auto teat sprayer and protract. The cows have all flex collars. The cows are wintered on farm on 2 feed pads which have self feed stacks, so not feeding out in the tractor everyday.  Calving is also done on pad with straw and rubber matts.
