A position to suit someone with 2-3 years of NZ dairy farming experience. Must have a competent knowledge of pasture, animal health husbandry and daily dairy farming tasks. we are after an honest punctual hands on person who is capable of working sole or in a team. A positive attitude with confidence on running the dairy on daily basis will be expected.
Role includes Milking twice daily ( will be assisted and non assisted)weed control, pasture management, assisting calf rearing and other daily chores. The role will be ideal for a couple (calf rearing and relief milking are available)
A clean police record, drivers license is expected.We could request a pre employment drug test and random testing could occur.
Housing option are available on site and another one at 5 minutes drive. Onsite house is a smaller 3 Br Offsite is bigger 4 Br house twin story.
