330 cows, 32 a-side herringbone shed with ACR's, auto draft and Halter (so you almost never have to put up a fence again). Covered feed pad and in-shed feeding, aiming for higher per cow production. The farm is semi self-contained with all young-stock and some steers also. The job involves as aspects of general farming: miking, calf-rearing, feeding out, weed control, fencing, general maintenance etc. We utilise as much tech as we can to free up some time around tasks like break fencing, heat detection and drafting. The roster is 11 on 3 off for most of the year except during calving where it is 12 on 2 off.
