Looking for a calf rearer to assist us over calving (1 July - 15 October). Will need to be confident and capable. Previous experience is preferred but the position can easily be learnt by someone willing. This position will involve rearing approximately 200 calves (milk, meal, hay and water) plus feeding bobbies. Looking for an experienced calf rearer for the calving season. This is a drive in position, no accommodation available on farm.  Farm is located 10 minutes from Matamata on the Kaimai range. Close proximity to Morrinsville, Te Poi, Walton and Te Aroha.  Required for 8 weeks from 25th July till the middle of September.  Rearing 130 replacement calves and around 40 beef calves.  Ad-lib milk feeding system.  Good infrastructure.  Roughly 3-3.5 hours in the morning + 1.5-2 hours in the afternoon.  Must be able to work weekends to help cover staff time off.
