We are on the look out for a Assistant Manager wanting to actively assist management of our 685 cow farm operation in the South Waikato.
The farm is a 230 hectare effective with a 50 bail rotary platform with in-shed feeding, automatic teat spray, auto draft with cow manager tags to aid with animal health and mating.
The successful applicant must have a proven track record in identifying pasture, moving and shifting of irrigators (travelling) organising and implementing animal health procedures, must be able to effectively manage other farm staff and at least 3 years dairy farming experience in New Zealand.
This role is suited to someone who is ready to hit the ground running, with the ability to execute on farm tasks, follow farm procedures and able to lead other farm staff in absence of Contract Milker.
3 bedroom house with double garage and log burner available with position
