We have a position available for a Dairy Farm Assistant on a 700-cow farm milking through a 54 Rotary Bale shed in the Ashburton area. The farm is located 10-15 minutes to Ashburton, 30 minutes from Mt Hutt Ski Field.  Previous experience is preferred but not required for this role. We are on the lookout for a senior Farm Assistant to join our small team in Sheffield. Start date: ASAP Location: 5min to Sheffield, and 10min to Darfield. We are looking for an relief milker for a 750 cow farm located 10 minutes east of Ashburton. This is a casual drive in position and experience in milking is required as it is a high producing herd, being milked through a 1 person shed. The cows are being milked through a 54 bale rotary with acr and auto teatspray. The roster will be covering the other staffs days off, and will be 4 days on, 6 days off, with the occasional 6 days on, 4 days off, the high producing herd takes around 4 hours to milk in the morning and around 3 hours in the afternoon.
