3 Farm Assistants
We are seeking for a capable and enthusiastic individuals to join our team on a 1,000 caw dairy farm in Hororata. This is a for a full-time, permanent employment.
Key responsibilites:
- Daily milking of cow
- Feeding and monitoring livestock
- assisting with general farm operations
- assist in calf rearing
- weed control
- feeding out with tractor and wagon
- break fencing
- following health and safety policies
- contributing positively within a supportive team environment
Ideal candidate:
- Honest, reliable, hardworking and eager to learn
- comfortable with early mornings and outdoor work
- enjoy hands-on, practical work in a rural setting
- has dependable personal transport
- must be able to show up for interview (virtual or in person)
- Be able to pass pre employment drug test and alcohol test
- Has completed at least secondary or with at least 3 months if work experience in dairy farming\

We prefer candidate who don't smoke
