You would be working with another to help reduce workload for a good work environment. This job starts beginning of Aug and runs until the end of September. Excellent purpose built calf sheds with underground milk line from dairy shed. Understanding of best practice animal health and growing good quality stock a must. Hours will be flexible and negotiable.

We are looking for a Dairy Farm Assistant who must have at least 6+ months' experience to join a 480-cow farm in the Edendale area, milking through a 40-aside herringbone shed.  You'll have a range of duties to keep you busy, interested and developing including: Milking twice a day shifting cows and feeding  fencing, weed control calving, calf rearing shed cleaning and setup identifying and alerting managers to sick cows Setting fences and other general farm duties.
