We are currently looking for someone with farming experience to take on a permanent role on farm from late October 2026. The successful applicant must provide up to date references and be eligible to work in NZ. Position would include Calving, Calf rearing, feeding out and milking etc depending on experience. A Tidy 2 Bedroom house is available that would suit a couple or a small family. We Calve down approximately 280 cows from 1st March and 250 from 1st August, both herds mated for 8 weeks. We have a brand new 30 aside herringbone cowshed with automatic cup removers and auto yard wash. There is a tidy 3 bedroom home available. The farm is grass based with grass and grass silage as the main feeds so this is a great place to learn excellent pasture management. We do about 110,000kgMS per year and typically go OAD in January each year. We aim for best practice in every area especially cow health, incalf rates, SCC and youngstock rearing.
