Situated just eight minutes from central Methven and only one kilometre from the Mt Hutt access road, we are looking for a staff member to join our team for a period of three to four months beginning in mid-July. Our operation involves milking 690 cows using a 40-aside herringbone shed, supported by robust systems and a dedicated support team. There is potential for this position to evolve into an ongoing relief milking contract for the remainder of the season. Applicants must be eligible to work in New Zealand and able to provide strong references. The ability to ride a two-wheel motorbike is required, and prior experience operating a tractor and silage wagon would be advantageous. We are seeking a motivated and reliable person to join us and our 2IC milking 500 quiet crossbred cows through an older but efficient 32 bale rotary shed located mid-way between Whitianga and Coromandel towns. This is a fixed term role for the lactation only July to April. We are having to re-advertise due to previously successful candidate changing their mind about taking the role on. This has traditionally been a 2 person farm utilizing calf rearers and relief milkers but we are transitioning to a model that will largely use 3 full-time labour units to achieve seasonal outcomes instead. We can be very flexible with how this role is structured so welcome applications from a range of experience levels and circumstances.  The main duties will be getting cows in,  AM and PM milkings, Shed clean-up and Hygiene and some general farm clean-up and weed control. We are looking for a full time Calf Rearer  on our 510 cow dairy farm 5 mins out of Culverden. Calf rearing experience is a preference but not a must (training can be provided). Roster is 6 and 2, and the majority of the season you will be the sole person rearing the calves so you must be happy working on your own, have a good work ethic and be able to show initiative.  This is a full time role over calving, while relief milking work is available once the busy calving period is over. Ideal position for a Working Holiday Visa We are seeking an energetic and willing to learn person to help rear calves on our farm situated between Ashburton and Methven in Mid Canterbury. The ideal candidate will be someone who is looking for an experience, to work hard, to learn, and feel proud of the reward of seeing the calves grow and flourish in our environment. Being physically fit is an advantage, at times with being able to lift a large calf. This position includes ensuring every calf receives sufficient colostrum, and being taught to feed on a calf feeder. We are open to all experience levels, but applicants must be residing in NZ.  We are Lower order sharemilkers milking 950 cows in Bainham golden bay. We milk 2 herds 5am and 1 herd 2pm daily through a 50 bail rotary shed with ACR.  Technology on farm - Halter, masti test, auto draft - training provided we pride ourselves in running a positive, supportive work environment with solid routines achieving good results. 

Releif milker required for the 26/27 due to current reliever unable to continue on.  350 cows, Inshed feeding, alflex collars and automatic drafting. Flat to rolling country.  The relief milker will be required for 3-4 days a week from the 1st of September until the 31st of May 2027.  Accommodation can be provided at $250 pw, deducted from wages (power and internet included) 3 bedroom warm home, new carpet, garage and a fully fenced section.
