Fulltime farm assistant required to cover the Rostered days off of our 3 permanent staff. You will work 10 days a fortnight  as part of the team doing all jobs through the busy spring calving and mating period. Start asap, could be a full time or part time position. Also would consider a full time couple. To join husband and wife team and one other labour unit. We take great pride in feeding our cows well and in return we get great production and healthy cows. On farm training can be given where needed. Due to unforeseen circumstances we are looking for someone to join us on our Dairy Farm near Morrinsville. We are milking 300 crossbred cows on 107ha 15 minutes North of Morrinsville. We have a brand new 30 aside herringbone cowshed with automatic cup removers and auto yard wash. There is a tidy 3 bedroom home available. The farm is grass based with grass and grass silage as the main feeds so this is a great place to learn excellent pasture management. We do about 110,000kgMS per year and typically go OAD in January each year. We aim for best practice in every area especially cow health, incalf rates, SCC and youngstock rearing.
