Monitor animal health, identify sick or injured animals, and administer basic treatments or report issues promptly. Assist with calving Move stock safely between paddocks and assist with grazing management. Operate and maintain milking equipment and farm machinery safely. We are looking for someone to take the lead as a calf rearer, with assistance from our other farm staff. We will be rearing approximately 150 replacement heifer calves plus a few beef calves across two neighbouring farms. Position to start 13th July, for about 10 weeks.  Ideally a 6 : 1 position with Sundays off. There is also a possibility of taking on some relief milkings through the rest of the season if desired. Please note that this is a drive in position, or there could be potential for shared accomodation for a single person. Must be physically fit, have a NZ Working Visa and reside in NZ. 

We are Contract milking 500 cows through an older rotary shed and are looking for a motivated and reliable person to help us ASAP with calving fast approaching.  Main duties will include milking, clean up and helping in the calf shed. We are open to different levels of experience and happy to train the right people. We can also create a couples role for the busy period. Close to fishing and outdoor pursuits its an amazing place to work and play. We can provide a 3 bedroom home that can come furnished with power included if required. DRIVE IN CALF REARER We have 450 cows to calve on our 104ha farm near Leamington, Cambridge, and we are looking for a calf rearer to join the team to take care of our calves while they are on farm. We will have a mixture of dairy replacements and dairy beef calves through the system. Previous experience in calf rearing is a must and have a real passion for looking after the health and wellbeing of every calf. It will be for approx. 5 hours per day until mid-September.  $26-$28/hr depending on experience. Looking for a capable person in the shed to help milk 480 cows through a herringbone shed with one of my friendly staff members. Some experience would be preferred but not necessary. We have an onsite 2 bedroom house available if required.  This would be a fixed term contract to help us through the busy part of the season from 1st August to 31st December.

We are looking for someone to come in and cover milkings through the 2026/27 season so staff are able to have annual leave and get other jobs done around the farm during milking hours. We run a split calving system so milkings are all year round and consistent.  54 bail rotary with cup removers and automatic teat spray so is just one person milking. There will be someone to help with herd change overs and when the red mob comes through so you arent left to yourself. There is always someone outside loading or doing other jobs that if you have an issue you can call on.
