Job Description
- Manage the day-to-day care and welfare of the dairy herd.
- Carry out milking efficiently while maintaining high milk quality and hygiene standards.
- Monitor animal health, identify sick or injured animals, and administer basic treatments or report issues promptly.
- Assist with calving
- Move stock safely between paddocks and assist with grazing management.
- Operate and maintain milking equipment and farm machinery safely.
- Maintain farm facilities, fences, water systems, and general farm infrastructure.
- Keep accurate records of animal health, milk production, treatments, and farm activities.
- Follow all farm health and safety policies and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
