We are looking for someone to come in and cover milkings through the 2026/27 season so staff are able to have annual leave and get other jobs done around the farm during milking hours.
We run a split calving system so milkings are all year round and consistent.
54 bail rotary with cup removers and automatic teat spray so is just one person milking. There will be someone to help with herd change overs and when the red mob comes through so you arent left to yourself. There is always someone outside loading or doing other jobs that if you have an issue you can call on.
The role will include both morning and afternoon milkings within our 7:2, 7:2, 7:3 roster
There is the opportunity over the summer for extra work like weeds but this isnt guaranteed.
This would suit either a drive in person if you have your own accommodation, or we do have a SINGLE person living complex that is available. The living complex comes with a living area including little kitchenet, a small bathroom and one bedroom.
Rate is negotiable and rent will be paid weekly from you if you are living on farm.
