After calving relief milking available for the right person. + Rearing approximately 120 heifer calves/45 beef calves and 10 bulls + Feeding bobby calves until 4 days old  + Tube feeding if newborn calves are not drinking from the feeding bottle  + Training calves for the feeders  + Identify any calves not drinking milk and feeding them  + Report any problem of calves and machinery  + Help for milking when other staff has day off  you should have WHV to start the job.  PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT HAVE VISA TO WORK IN NEW ZEALAND

We are looking for an employee to assist on our dairy farm near Cambridge for 3 months while one of the farm owners has surgery.  This is a fixed term contract on an hourly rate. This role would suit a NZ Resident or someone with a student visa or working holiday visa.  The farm is 108 hectares, milking approximately 315 cows at peak.  We milk twice a day through a 23 aside herringbone cowshed with cup removers, Protrack and Allflex Collars.  We require someone who is reliable and honest  and who is able to assist the farm owner/senior employee from late August to end of November (3 months). The role will include milking cows, feeding calves, setting up breaks for cows, cleaning equipment/facilities and other general farm work. We offer a friendly team environment and with good facilities.

Senior farm assistant/milk harvester required until 31 May 2027. This is a fixed term due to farm converting to solar. Possible employment on our other farm next season. Both farms within 10km of Opunake. Position involves primarily milking. The shed is a 62 aside herringbone with 3 milkers in the shed. Maximum 40 hours per week - hours and roster negotiable. Our herd manager will be taking maternity leave at the end of the year and we are looking for a relief staff member who would like to gain more experience on farm while she is away! We are milking 500 fresian cows in a 40 a/s herringbone . Located near Arapuni. The job would require twice a day milkings. We are looking for someone dedicated, responsible with reliable transportation and a lack of excuses. We are a fun young team and love to have a laugh and reach our goals. There is plenty of work available for an employee outside of milkings if looking to gain more hours during the day on farm. Due to unforeseen circumstances we are looking for someone to join us on our Dairy Farm near Morrinsville. We are milking 300 crossbred cows on 107ha 15 minutes North of Morrinsville. We have a brand new 30 aside herringbone cowshed with automatic cup removers and auto yard wash. There is a tidy 3 bedroom home available. The farm is grass based with grass and grass silage as the main feeds so this is a great place to learn excellent pasture management. We do about 110,000kgMS per year and typically go OAD in January each year. We aim for best practice in every area especially cow health, incalf rates, SCC and youngstock rearing.
