Our sharemilker of the past 3 years is looking to move to the Waikato. The farm will eventually be a solar farm but before that we want to continue as a dairy farm. The contract is only for a one year term with potential of a second year. We are looking for a:  Honest, motivated, energetic, with ability to run a farm with an absentee owner and comfortable with reporting to a farm supervisor. We are seeking a motivated dairy farmer who is keen to progress their career in a supportive environment on a well-established farm using Halter technology.   Situated 3 Km's from Helensville township the 155ha farm of flat to rolling contour is milking 410 cows at peak through a 44 bale Rotary with in-shed feeding, and a 410 cow feedpad and calving pad. Technology is widely utilised to monitor systems and increase efficiency, including Halter collars, ACR's, Protrack Drafting and SmartWater system. On target for this season production of 175,000 kg/ms.  Owners living on farm and manage the calf-rearing, crops and runoff.   Helensville has a primary and secondary school as well as a several sports clubs, supermarket and essential services.
