Join Our Team as a Casual Calf Rearer – Dairy Farm Opportunity We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and animal-loving person to join our team as a Casual Calf Rearer on our dairy farm near Rolleston. Key Responsibilities: PM calf feeding Monitoring calf health and wellbeing Cleaning and maintaining calf sheds and feeding equipment Assisting with general calf rearing tasks as required Following farm health and safety procedures Position Details: Casual position Drive-in role Farm located approximately 10 km from Rolleston Flexible hours during the calf rearing season Pay rate dependent on experience and skills Previous calf rearing experience is preferred, but training can be provided for the right applicant We are looking for someone who is dependable, has a positive attitude, and enjoys working with animals in a farm environment.

we are looking for a reliable calf Rearer to join our team for the up coming calving season, some experience would be ideal as you will be working alone most of time, jobs would include tubing new born's ,teaching to feed on feeders, administering medication to any sick ones, we are an adlib farm so keeping feeding barrels and trophs clean to insure we dont get scours in the pens. Some extra work on farm may be available to make up hours at the start, that can be discussed at the interview. We can offer temporary accommodation just over calving if needed. You must have patience and a down to earth attitude, also have a love and kindness for animals.
