We are seeking a Relief Milker to assist on our well-run Mid Canterbury dairy farm. This role offers flexibility and would suit someone looking for regular relief work or additional milkings.
Farm Details:
650 cows
54-bail rotary shed
Automatic Cup Removers (ACRs)
Efficient, modern dairy operation
Role Responsibilities:
Sole charge of the dairy shed during milkings
Morning milking: cups on at 5:00am
Afternoon milking: cups on at 2:30pm
Maintain good milking hygiene and animal welfare standards
Roster & Hours:
Flexible days - Ideally Weekends
Open to discussing availability to suit the right person
Skills & Experience:
Milking experience preferred but not essential
Training can be provided for the right attitude
Must be reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently
Remuneration:
Pay rate based on experience
