We are looking for someone to help us out during the mating and summer period, milking 1250 cows through a 60 bail shed. We are based in Bankside, 10 minutes from Dunsandel and 10 minutes from Rakaia.
Each milking is shared by 2 people, 600 cows each, so experience solo milking is required however training can be provided for the right candidate. The shed is equipped with ACR's, protrack and in shed feeding, with good cow flow and nice cows.
This is a drive in position, no accommodation is available on farm. We are flexible with the number of milkings per week but will be minimum 4 milkings per week. Other part time work may also be available on farm.
