We have a position available for a reliable drive-in relief milker. Must be reliable and pleasant,  Milking 440 spring calving cows through an 36aside herringbone. Duties would include milking and cleaning/wash up with the help of another team member. Milkings available would ideally be every second weekend but happy to discuss options. This is a drive in position, postion start date is negotiable, willing to provide training for a willing applicant, must have nz residency or a valid work visa as we are not accredited employers  5 minutes from Woodville and 10 from pahiatua

We are currently seeking someone to help on our farm located in Auroa, Taranaki. This position would be drive in, and could range from milk harvester to a full time farm assistant role depending on experience/applicant.  The farm is spring calving 750 cows through a 60 bale Rotary. The contour of the farms is flat and paddocks are well fenced, even sized with great central racing. Water supplied from the Waimate west water scheme. The cowshed has Automatic cup removers and teat spraying.  Cows are fed all year via the in shed feed system or feed pad. We have Protract Drafting working alongside Cow manager system in the herd. We are Daniel and Monique Newell working on Armstrongs Farms We are seeking a new farm assistant to join out team. We contract milk a couple of farms and require an extra hand to keep the farms humming. We are based just out from Opunake.   This role could even suit a couple that are wanting to take dairy farming on and be in a positive team environment. We can offer all trainings and support to get you started. We have 2 separate farms only 5 mins from Opunake with a really great community.  This job will require you to take part in milkings, cow herding and various farm jobs.
