We are Daniel and Monique Newell working on Armstrongs Farms
We are seeking a new farm assistant to join out team. We contract milk a couple of farms and require an extra hand to keep the farms humming. We are based just out from Opunake.
This role could even suit a couple that are wanting to take dairy farming on and be in a positive team environment. We can offer all trainings and support to get you started. We have 2 separate farms only 5 mins from Opunake with a really great community.
This job will require you to take part in milkings, cow herding and various farm jobs. I believe that this job could be the perfect start or it might be the right change at the right time to find a great team. We can offer flexibility with a bigger team and we offer a 5 and 2 roster.
320 ha coastal milking 1000 cows with support block and all through a 60 bale cowshed with great support and using Allflex collars
