We are looking for an experienced farm assistant with a proven track record to join our team milking 440 cows through a 40 aside. We are a team of 4 who each play an important role in running an efficient system. A few things that make our operation simple to run includes the use of batt latches, auto drafting, auto plant wash, automatic cup removers and the Allflex collars system. Cups on at 5.30 in the morning and 3pm in the afternoons. Essentials only on the weekends.  Animal health and wellbeing is at the forefront of how we operate. About the role We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable 2IC or Herd Manager to join our small dairy farming team. This is a hands-on and wide-ranging role working closely with the contract milking couple across all aspects of the family-owned farming operation. The role would suit someone who enjoys looking after and milking cows, and has attention to detail regarding both animal welfare and pasture management.
