We need a Herd Manager to join our team. As a Herd Manager, you must have a natural love for animals and all agriculture. This is a full-time permanent role that requires you to work a minimum of 30 hours and a maximum of 40 hours per week at $33.60/hour. To be considered for the role. We are looking for a experienced herd manager to join us for the new season. Looking for an experienced herd manager/2IC.  This position requires experience farming including milking shed management, stock work and machinery operation and basic knowledge of feed management. We farm near Matamata on 170 ha of rolling to flat contoured dairy farm 38 ASHB with ACR's and inshed feeding We feed out maize silage as needed and grass silage in paddock. This position requires you to be in New Zealand with the abilty to work or obtain a visa. We are accredited.

Due to unforeseen circumstances we are on the lookout for a 2ic or herd manager on our 500-520 cow farm located in Gordonton. Between Morrinsville and Gordonton. The shed is a 36 aside Herringbone shed with in shed feed.  You will report to and work alongside the manager on farm.  Due to lack of accomodation this is a shared accomodation role so would suit a single person.
