Situated just eight minutes from central Methven and only one kilometre from the Mt Hutt access road, we are looking for a staff member to join our team for a period of three to four months beginning in mid-July. Our operation involves milking 690 cows using a 40-aside herringbone shed, supported by robust systems and a dedicated support team. There is potential for this position to evolve into an ongoing relief milking contract for the remainder of the season. Applicants must be eligible to work in New Zealand and able to provide strong references. The ability to ride a two-wheel motorbike is required, and prior experience operating a tractor and silage wagon would be advantageous. Accommodation is available in a portacom, which includes a heat pump, fridge, television, and some kitchen utensils.
