We are seeking a motivated and reliable Farmhand to join our team on a fixed-term basis from July through November. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in practical work, and has an interest in the agricultural sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with general farm operations and day-to-day tasks such as milking
- Livestock handling and animal welfare activities
- Fencing, maintenance, and general property upkeep
- Supporting calving and calf rearing
- Operating farm equipment
- Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment
About You
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Be eligible to work in New Zealand
- Be physically fit and capable of undertaking manual outdoor work
- Ideally have a basic understanding of farming practices or previous farm experience
- Have a strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Be reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrate a commitment to health and safety
