Key duties include feeding and caring for calves, monitoring animal health, maintaining high hygiene standards in calf sheds and equipment, identifying and reporting unwell calves, assisting with tagging and treatments, and supporting safe animal handling practices.  Agriculture experience is preferred. We are a large-scale dairy farm just outside of Mossburn, Northern Southland.  We are looking for 2 calf rearers to join our team for the upcoming season starting 25th of July and finishing end of September / early October (exact dates are negotiable). This job would ideally suit a couple or 2 friends. Roster is 6/1 or 6/2 depending on the time of the season.  Ideally some experience of caring for animals or working on a farm is preferred but not essential.
