We are looking ASAP for an experienced Tractor Driver to take on the role on a 850 ha dairy farm Balfour area, approximately 10 minutes south of Lumsden.
This position starts ASAP til end Dec' 26.
Key duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Silage, hay and baling
- Mowing, raking, cultivating
- Cropping
- Harvesting
- Paddock work
- Maintaining machinery to ensure it's clean and operational
- Other general farm duties as required.
Weekly hours are a minimum of 33 and an average of 45 but there may be a need for concentrated work which will be a maximum of 55 hours per week, depending on a number of unknown factors like weather.
The schedule may vary; Roster will be 6 days on 1 days off.
Wage is $28.00 per hour
Candidates must have previous tractor operating experience and are required to provide good related references.
