We are a high producing 700 cow farm set on 245Ha of stunning countryside just a couple of minutes’ drive to Tuatapere and about 50 mins to Invercargill. We consider ourselves to be good employers due to the fact that our current herd manager has been with us for 5 years, however due to family reasons this person is now leaving us, so we have some big shoes to fill.
We are now seeking a dairy farm assistant who we can train to the next level. You must at 6 to 12 months experience and have strong milking skills. We milk through a 50 bail rotary that has in-shed feeding and ACR. We do encourage AGITO training. Being able to drive a tractor will be an advantage but not essential as we can teach you.
In return we offer a competitive salary of between $25- $30 per hour including accommodation and lovely 2.5 bedroom house is available, we also believe in having a very healthy work/life balance. We guarantee a minimum of 30 hours per week. We also offer a very health and safety conscious workplace, and our is 10/4 roster.
