RPL

We are a high producing 700 cow farm set on 228Ha of stunning countryside just 20 mins drive to Invercargill.     We consider ourselves to be good employers who offer a healthy work/life balance to our employees. We work well as a team, we communicate and we get the job done.   Our cows are in excellent health, and we intend to keep them that way, so you must possess some animal husbandry skills, be able to work unsupervised, and you must have strong initiative, if you see something that needs doing, then do it, if you break something, tell someone, its simple really.   We are more than happy to further train the right person, but you must be willing to learn and be serious about growing a career in the dairy industry.   We do encourage AGITO training.   We milk our cows through a 54-bail rotary with ACR etc. In return we offer a competitive salary of between $25 - $30 per hour and a minimum of 30 hours per week, as well as exceptional on farm accommodation. We also...

WE ARE NOT ACCREDITED SO SORRY BUT OFFSHORE AND VISA HOLDERS NEED NOT APPLY. Our beautiful 141Ha family owned and run dairy farm is located just 5 minutes from Lincoln, where there are great schools, shops, cafes etc. and we’re still only 30 mins from the center of Christchurch.  We think we are ideally situated to enjoy everything the South Island has to offer.   We milk our beautiful 280 cows through a 20 aside Herringbone shed, it does not have ACR, but it is a 1-person shed (eventually you will be able to milk on your own).  We would like to find a dairy farm assistant to come and join our team.  Our manager has been with us for 7 years, so we consider ourselves to be good employers especially as they started with us as a farm assistant.  We are good teachers but only if you have a willingness to learn.  This is not just a job to us, this is a lifestyle, so having an extra person will allow us to concentrate on other projects.   You may have at least...

We are looking for a farm assistant to join our team. Position will involve feeding out, milking, animal health, calving, mating, record keeping, irrigation, effluent, weed and pest control, farm machinery and general farm work. Location is 11 mins from Tapapa and 1 hour from Hamilton. We are looking for someone who would ideally have the desire to grow a career within our industry.  If you have limited experience we can train you, but must have a good attitude, strong ethics and morals and a willingness to learn.  We want someone who is honest and reliable.  We milk our 300 cows through a 30 ASHB. A good house is available on farm for you to live in and we offer a safe and healthy work environment where smoking is not allowed. You are guaranteed a minimum of 30 hours per week, and we shall pay between $24 to $28 per hour depending on experience.
