We are seeking a Dairy Farm Assistant to work on a 1050-cow farm in the Howard area, milking through a 50 Bail Rotary shed. Previous dairy farming experience is preferred but not required for this role.
You'll have a range of duties to keep you busy, interested and developing including:
Weekly hours are a minimum of 35 and a maximum of 45. Since farm work is dependent on a number of unknown factors like weather and animals, any hours worked beyond the agreed maximum in a fortnightly pay period will be paid at the agreed overtime rate.
The schedule may vary; Roster will be 10 days on, 4 days off for the rest of the year.
Wage is between $26.07 - $30.00 per hour, depending on experience.
