FIXED-TERM FARM ASSISTANT – ACC COVER
We arelooking for a reliable and capable person to join our team on a fixed-term basis, covering for a staff member who is currently off work on ACC.
Farm consists of contract milker, relief staff and working along side farm owners on a daily basis

We Are looking for someone who is confident around cows, reliable, has a good work ethic and can get stuck into all aspects of day-to-day dairy farming.
The role will include:
• Milking
• Animal health and stock work
• Feeding and shifting cows
• Break fencing and pasture management
• General farm duties and maintenance
• Keeping the shed and farm tidy
• Working as part of the team to keep the farm running smoothly
What we’re looking for:
• Previous dairy farming experience preferred
• Confident handling cows
• Reliable and punctual
• Good attitude and work ethic
• Able to work independently when required
• Current NZ work rights
• Full driver’s licence preferred
This is a fixed-term position, with the length of the role dependent on the returning employee’s ACC recovery and return-to-work timeframe.
