Calf Rearer / Farm Assistant
We are looking for a dedicated Calf Rearer to join our team.
This role is for someone who genuinely loves raising calves and understands that the "future of the herd" starts in the calf shed. You’ll be in charge of the young stock during the busy season and transition into general farm work as the season progresses.
Housing: 3-bedroom home included, only 8 minutes from town.
The Role
Calf Excellence: Feeding, health checks, and maintaining high hygiene standards in the sheds.
Animal Health: You’ll have a sharp eye for spotting sick calves early and treating them with care.
Farm Support: Milking, shifting breaks, and General farm work once the calves are weaned.
What We Need
Experience: Prior experience in calf rearing is a must. You know what "healthy" looks like.
The Vibe: Patient, organized, and reliable.
The Basics: Full NZ License, NZ Resident/Citizen. (We are not an accredited employer).
