We are looking for a team member to join our dairy farming crew near Paeroa, Waikato. Start date in May or 1st June - negotiable. We are third generation dairy farmers who are proud to be taking care of the land and cows that we call home. A bit about the farm: 650 kiwi-cross cows milked through a 50 bail rotary with in-shed feeding, ACR’s and Protrack drafting. We monitor our cows with Allflex collars, utilize a feed pad year round and run 2 herds. The dairy platform is supported by our run-off 5 minutes away, where our calves and heifers graze from 5 days old until calving down. We currently run a 6 on 2 off roster all season. We operate a progressive dairy operation located in Paeroa. We milk 715 cows across 215 hectares using54 HB cowshed. This role is vital in ensuring our herd's health, productivity, and welfare. You’ll work closely with the Herd Manager or Farm Manager and other team members to maintain high standards across the farm.
