We operate two dairy goat farms at Manawaru. We are looking for an experienced, highly motivated person to help us get some things done around the farm! The job also involves some milking to fill in the roster every second weekend and one day per week. Candidates will ideally have experience with the following: chainsaw operation fencing tractor driving minor building work general maintenance Candidates will also need to be able to: work in a team and individually be able to think ahead and plan out work be highly organised ask for help when needed If you're looking for more variety in your days and are a practical thinker then this may be the job for you!

We have a fixed term position available for someone looking for a unique roll. The position, combines calf rearing, milk harvesting, tractor driving and maintenance work. The successful candidate will be in charge  of rearing 450 calves on the dairy farm, tractor driving/cultivating on the runoff and dairy farm, shifting irrigators and also filling a milk harvester roll on the dairy farm. Experience with tractor driving and calf rearing is preferred. The roll is from 1st August - 1st of March.
