We  have a position available for a Herd manager.  We milk 700 cows through a 54 bale rotary with ACR's, Protrac and in shed feeding. Farm is fully irrigated with Centre Pivots,  pole sprinklers and some k-Line. We are located 15 minutes from Ashburton and just one hour to Christchurch. All staff members have their own accommodation, and we are close to both local primary schools and Mt Hutt college or Ashburton college, with school buses. We encourage a happy and  healthy work environment. Applicants must have great communication skills, show initiative and  have a genuine interest in the dairy industry and the welfare of our cows. Applicant will require a suitable work visa or residency and have at least 3 years experience and current references.
