We are seeking a farm assistant to join our team for the 25/26 season. Applicants must currently be in New Zealand and have a current work visa or New Zealand residency, we are not an accredited employer. The successful applicant would be willing to undergo drug testing prior to employment. The farm consists of 405 has, milking 1750 cows through an 80 bale rotary shed. The successful applicant needs to be eager to learn and have a positive, enthusiastic attitude. Beside milking cows twice a day (4 am and 1 pm starts), the position involves assisting with calf rearing, weed spraying, shifting sprinklers and general maintenance and cleaning. The successful applicant needs to have a strong team focus, and strive for excellence in what he does, and therefore great attitude and job engagement need to be demonstrated every day to a high standard. We are seeking a 2ic to join our team for the 25/26 season. The farm milks 1070 cows at peak through a 50 bail rotary shed with acr’s, protrack and in shed feeding. Located just 3 minutes north of culverden township and 25 mins from hamner springs. The farm is 400 hectares with 30-40 hectares of winter feed planted on the platform, all cows are wintered on farm. Irrigation consists of 6 pivots, 180 pole sprinklers and roughly 60 long line sprinklers.
