We are looking for an enthusiastic person with some dairy farming experience to join our team in February 2027 just before we start calving. Must have NZ citizenship or currently in New Zealand on working visa. We milk 650 cows through a 50 bale rotary shed. Our herd is all autumn calving from end of Feb till end of April.  This job would suit someone who wants to carry out a variety of farming duties including milking cows, rearing calves, tractor work, fencing and water repairs and general stockwork.  PLEASE DO NOT APPLY if you are not willing to live in shared accommodation with one of our employees.

We are seeking a Dairy Farm Assistant to work on a 350-cow farm in the Dargaville area, milking through a 32 aside Herringbone shed. Previous dairy farming experience is preferred but not required for this role. You'll have a range of duties to keep you busy, interested and developing including: Milking twice a day shifting cows and feeding  fencing, weed control calving, calf rearing shed cleaning and setup identifying and alerting managers to sick cows Setting fences and other general farm duties. Weekly hours are a minimum of 35 and a maximum of 55.
