Due to unforeseen circumstances we are re-advertising this role.  We are looking for a motivated Farm Assistant to join our team from the 1st of June.  Location : Waitotara - 10 mins out of Waverly and 35 mins to Whanganui 300ha 720-750 Spring calving herd 60 Bale Rotary shed with ACR, Automated Teat sprayer, Protrack and all cows on Halter Feedpad  You'll be assisting the team in all aspects of day-to-day farm operations, including :  Milking and shed hygiene General farm tasks Ideally, we're looking for someone : With a minimum of 1 year dairy farming experience in NZ Who takes pride in surrounds, dairy shed and equipment on farm - the expectation is to have a clean dairy shed at all times,  looking after gear - maintaining and keeping it clean.  Who works with animals in a calm manner Who can show initiative Reliable and honest at all times - owning up when necessary, as this builts relationship and trust Positive attitude Who is keen...

We are seeking an enthusiastic person as soon as possible, with a minimum of 2 seasons NZ dairy farming experience. You will be required to assist with all aspects of  day to day dairy farming. This position is available to NZ citizens / residents with a valid NZ work visa, we are NOT accredited employers. We spring Calve 750 cows milked twice daily through a 60 Bale Rotary cowshed. You will be working alongside a  team of 4 full time and 1 part timer  An excellent 2 bedroom house is available We are a family owned and operated Dairy Farming Business with excellent long serving  Managment  The farm is flat, centrally raced with excellent infrastructure utilizing modern machinery and farming practices   You must have a genuine desire to be part of a thriving Dairy industry. Hi there, We run a 300 cow farm near Manaia, Taranaki. We have outstanding facilities and farm on flat productive land. Our cows are high producing Freisan cross cows who are quiet and a pleasure to work with. The farm is 300 cows milked through a 44 bail rotary, cup removers, protrack, fully automated, one person shed. This farm is run by an awesome Manager. We are looking for someone to join our great team to cover time off throughout the season, and also assist at calving time with cows and calves in. Generally rostered on 12:2 for milkings, Saturday and Sunday every second weekend up until November. Then 11:3 roster from November to dry off time, so then Friday to Sunday milking every second weekend.   The position is drive in, there is no available accommodation on the farm.
