Hi there, We run a 300 cow farm near Manaia, Taranaki. We have outstanding facilities and farm on flat productive land. Our cows are high producing Freisan cross cows who are quiet and a pleasure to work with. The farm is 300 cows milked through a 44 bail rotary, cup removers, protrack, fully automated, one person shed. This farm is run by an awesome Manager. We are looking for someone to join our great team to cover time off throughout the season, and also assist at calving time with cows and calves in. Generally rostered on 12:2 for milkings, Saturday and Sunday every second weekend up until November. Then 11:3 roster from November to dry off time, so then Friday to Sunday milking every second weekend.   The position is drive in, there is no available accommodation on the farm. The calf rearing position will commence mid July through to approximately mid September where you will be required to work with one other person and alone on some occasions.  We will be rearing around 130 heifer calves as well as beef calves.
