We milk 650 cows in a modern 50-bale rotary, running two herds. Our farm is relatively flat with the odd rolling hill. We use cow manager ear tags for heat and health detection and automatic drafting. In this role you will assist in the day to day running of the farm including milk and shed hygiene, effluent irrigation, break fencing, general maintenance and repairs and other farm duties. We operate a 600 cow split calving Dairy Farm 8kms from Matamata. Cows are milked through a 44 ashb shed and fed year round on an adjacent feed pad via a mixer wagon. Farm has good infrastructure and machinery. We seek the services of an enthusiastic person, who has a proven work record and ability with both stock and machinery, .
