We are looking for a farm manager or a 2IC to help us run day to day operations of a 330 cows dairy farm. 32 herringbone shed with automatic cup remover. Experience is preferred but training can be provided for the right person.  Its a Halter farm so no fences or following cows.  Please apply with 2 references.  Its a drive in position. Farm is located 5-7 minutes from Inglewood and no accommodation available on farm.  Overseas applicants do not apply, we don’t do a visa. 

Hi there, We run a 300 cow farm near Manaia, Taranaki. We have outstanding facilities and farm on flat productive land. Our cows are high producing Freisan cross cows who are quiet and a pleasure to work with. The farm is 300 cows milked through a 44 bail rotary, cup removers, protrack, fully automated, one person shed. This farm is run by an awesome Manager. We are looking for someone to join our great team to cover time off throughout the season, and also assist at calving time with cows and calves in. Generally rostered on 12:2 for milkings, Saturday and Sunday every second weekend up until November. Then 11:3 roster from November to dry off time, so then Friday to Sunday milking every second weekend.   The position is drive in, there is no available accommodation on the farm.
