Team of 3 full time with additional staff over calving. This role requires: honest and reliable team member with good communication skills.  assistance with daily milking and daily farm operations. perform general farm duties, including milking, break fences, maintenance  of farm equipment. ensure cleanliness and order in the milking shed and around farm. be able to identify animal health issues. have good self management skills, work well in a team and alone.  operate farm machinery- 2 wheeler, quad bike and tractor Safely and efficiently  adhere to health and safety guidelines.  3 years experience preferred with the ability to run milking shed on their own, training will be provided....

Farm Assistant - Waikato and Bay of Plenty We are looking for 2 farm assistants to join our team of 7 across 2 farms. We milk 550 spring-calving cows on a farm situated in Reporoa and 320 spring-calving cows on a farm situated in Rerewhakaaitu. Milking is done through a 50 a-side and a 32 a-side herringbone shed. Both farms have in-shed feed systems. Our ideal candidates will have a great attitude and a willingness to learn. You will be able to work well in a team and be punctual, reliable and honest.
