We are a family run farm located within easy access of the town of Kaikoura. Situated between the mountains and the sea, our farm is well located to take advantage of the hunting and fishing opportunities that Kaikoura offers. Schools, supermarket and services are all close by. An enthusiastic person is required for a general farm hand position on our 800+ cow family farm for the 2026 season. Cows are milked through a 60 bale rotary with Protrack and ACRs.  Milking and bringing cows to the cowshed are core roles for the job. Keeping the Cowshed clean , weed control and shifting electric fences are also regular activities for the the position. During the summer half the farm is under K line irrigation and the staff member will be required to help in shifting the K lines. We are looking for a full time Calf Rearer  on our 510 cow dairy farm 5 mins out of Culverden. Calf rearing experience is a preference but not a must (training can be provided). Roster is 6 and 2, and the majority of the season you will be the sole person rearing the calves so you must be happy working on your own, have a good work ethic and be able to show initiative.  This is a full time role over calving, while relief milking work is available once the busy calving period is over.
