You will be assisting with leading a team and milking 850 cows. This will be on a rotating roster of 6 days on and 2 days off.  You will be a team player, have strong pasture management knowledge and a genuine desire to achieve the farms goals. We are currently looking for a Dairy assistant to help July-August. The candidate will need a current work visa. The ideal candidate would have experience working on a New Zealand dairy farm, but any required training will be given to the right person. The job will include helping with calf rearing, milking in a rotary shed, moving fences, spraying weeds and other general duties. We are looking for someone with a can-do attitude to join our team. Our farm is located at Dorie, Mid Canterbury. The farm is 750ha (total) milking 2600 cows through two rotary sheds. We run on a 7-2-7-2-7-3 roster.
