You will need to be physically fit, able to speak good English, and have a positive attitude.  Experience isn't essential, but would be advantageous. The farm is part of a wider family farming group, with a proven record of staff progression.  We will encourage off-farm learning for the right person.  The roster will be 8/3 7/3 for the majority of the season, with a different roster set up for calving. A position has become available on our 680 cow, 54 bail rotary shed, based in the beautiful Hurunui District town of Rotherham. the local school ( yr 0-6) is just 2km up the road. Culverden is 10min car drive away with a local area school, grocery store and other small town shops. Hanmer Springs is just a 30 minute drive North with the beautiful hot pools, endless hiking and mountain biking at your door.  Our job is for someone who has an eye for detail, enjoys working by them selves or within a team, and takes pride in the farm and cow shed.  we are currently heading into our 7th season contract milking on the family farm. We are looking for a keen, motivated person to join our team on our family farm in Waiau, North Canterbury.
