Ma Taua Dairies is looking for a milk harvester.  Starting 24th August, for a fixed term contract. Ma Taua Dairies is located in Mid-Canterbury, close to Hinds and Ashburton and is milking 1130 cows through a 80 bail rotary. Minimum 20hours per week.  Experience is preferred but not essential. Due to unforeseen circumstances we are looking for someone to join us on our Dairy Farm near Morrinsville. We are milking 300 crossbred cows on 107ha 15 minutes North of Morrinsville. We have a brand new 30 aside herringbone cowshed with automatic cup removers and auto yard wash. There is a tidy 3 bedroom home available. The farm is grass based with grass and grass silage as the main feeds so this is a great place to learn excellent pasture management. We do about 110,000kgMS per year and typically go OAD in January each year. We aim for best practice in every area especially cow health, incalf rates, SCC and youngstock rearing.
