We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Herd Manager to join our 330-cow dairy operation, to work with the Contract Milker and other farm staff. We are looking for someone who is keen to step up into the role or someone who already has experience. This could be an excellent opportunity for someone looking to further develop their career within the dairy industry in years to come. We are searching for a farm assistant to assist us on the operation of a 900 cow dairy farm for the season commencing 1st June 2026. Farm description: -54 bale rotary, ACR's, auto draft -950 cows peak milk -system 2 farm system -285ha effective, flat to rolling, forestry conversion -OAD from christmas onward - roster 8:2 from July to October, then we move to 11:3  Farm is a forestry conversion completed in the 2000’s so infrastructure is all fairly modern and highly functional. Farm is in the district of Tirohanga, approximately 35mins to Taupo or Tokoroa, 40mins to Rotorua. Modern 3 bedroom house is available for the successful applicant. Cows are wintered on.
