We milk 600 cows through a 3 year old 54 bale rotary shed, located 2 minutes from Palmerston North town boundary We require someone for July - October to help out over the busy Spring time period! There is accommodation available for the right candidate. We are after someone who is passionate about farming and who is keen to learn more about the industry. You may be required to undertake and be involved in general farming duties including milking, feeding calves, dairy hygiene, animal health, feeding out and general maintenance. You must be honest and reliable, and have excellent time management skills. Our team is made up of 3 full time and 2 part time Staff. Rostered time off can be flexible. Releif milker required for the 26/27 due to current reliever unable to continue on.  350 cows, Inshed feeding, alflex collars and automatic drafting. Flat to rolling country.  The relief milker will be required for 3-4 days a week from the 1st of September until the 31st of May 2027.  Accommodation can be provided at $250 pw, deducted from wages (power and internet included) 3 bedroom warm home, new carpet, garage and a fully fenced section. Farm is located in ohakune, friendly quiet cows. No experience needed, and extra work can be available during calving and busy periods.  This is fixed term only for one season. Taratahi Dairy Farm Assistant Position We require an experienced dairy farm assistant for the 2026-2027 dairy season at the Taratahi Dairy Training Farm.The farm is located 5  minutes from Masterton.Accomodation(three bedroom house) is available if required.
