Hello! I am looking for a relief milker for a 415 cow dairy farm on Oreipunga Road, Maungatautari.  We are milking 415 cows through a 36 aside herringbone shed. Calving Starts 7 July, and we milk twice a day all season. The role is that of a shed assist: you will be working alongside the contract milker to cover employee time off. Due to unforeseen circumstances we are looking for someone to join us on our Dairy Farm near Morrinsville. We are milking 300 crossbred cows on 107ha 15 minutes North of Morrinsville. We have a brand new 30 aside herringbone cowshed with automatic cup removers and auto yard wash. There is a tidy 3 bedroom home available. The farm is grass based with grass and grass silage as the main feeds so this is a great place to learn excellent pasture management. We do about 110,000kgMS per year and typically go OAD in January each year. We aim for best practice in every area especially cow health, incalf rates, SCC and youngstock rearing. We rear ~70 replacement calves and they stay on farm until 1st May. This is a great opportunity to work with the farm owners and set yourself up for a great career in dairying. We are on the hunt for an extra team member to assist us over the season to lighten the load on the rest of the team, as this is a drive in position a requirement will be a current drivers license and reliable transport. Happy to offset fuel costs on top of hourly rate, all is negotiable. experience milking large herds in a rotary would be beneficial but not crucial. The farm is located 5 minutes drive from Tokoroa township We milk 1100 cows through a fully automated 60 bail waikato rotary. (ACR, ATS, Auto-wash, Auto Draft) Our ideal applicant will milk on an 8/2 roster, but this is negotiable depending on the applicant. this position could be fixed term or year long depending on your requirements.

We are looking for an experienced calf rearer to help us grow our future super stars! We rear 600 calves and it does get very busy. Because animal welfare is a priority, we are looking someone with great attention to detail who doesn't cut corners and can detect issues before they become a problem. To be successful in this role you will need to be a patient and empathetic person, be able to drive a tractor and already have the right to work in nz (we will not transfer visas as this is a short term casual position).  This is a drive in position. We are located 10 minutes drive from Cambridge. 

Relief Milker Wanted – Weekend Work We are looking for a reliable Relief Milker to join our team on weekends. We are currently milking 400 cows through a 30-a-side herringbone shed, conveniently located just a 5-minute drive from Hamilton in the Puketaha area. The role involves: Driving to the farm for each shift. Milking (cupping on) alongside myself or our 2IC. Finishing with a quick wash-down of the shed. We are looking for a drive in Calf Rearer/Relief milker for this current season 2026, from July til September with possible on-going work with Relief Milking throughout the year. Must have good experience in calf rearing, 1 farm has 200 and the 2nd farm has 260 spring calving cows.
