We are looking for a competent Dairy Herd Manager to work on one of our dairy farms through a 50-bale rotary with ACR's and Protrack automation and Halter technology. The successful applicant will need to be honest, hardworking, reliable, have excellent pasture management, able to problem solve on the go, be skilled in animal husbandry and agronomy, have excellent communication skills and able to work in a modern team environment and be a team player.  The role includes all general dairy farm duties from milking, feeding allocation of stock, R&M, weed control moving pivot and K-Line irrigation and Rotor Rainer irrigators.  Minimum of 30 hours per week to a maximum of 100 hours per fortnight. The applicant must adhere to the company's drug and alcohol-free policy/environment. The applicant must have a minimum of 2 year's full-time experience in the dairy industry. References are required. We are taking expressions of interest for an assistant Manager/ Manager position.  1400 cows TAD, leading a team of 6 staff.  Must be experienced and confident leading teams. Excellent tractor skills.  Large herd experience ideal  Cows have collars , experience with Allflex also ideal. Thorough commitment to health and safety. Can do attitude.
